The House of Elyot

Promotion Beyond Competence

Posted on: September 12, 2010

I have a book coming out next week. Should I be thinking about promoting it? Probably. Come back next Sunday and I may have some exclusive excerpts from The Business of Pleasure to fling in your general direction.

In the meantime, I will do something I am much more comfortable with viz. recommending somebody else’s excellent work. Charlotte Stein’s first release for Ellora’s Cave is out now! I was privileged to read The Horizon before it was submitted, and I want to wholeheartedly commend it to you. Tension, romance, scary space monsters and lots of sex – a few things that are always welcome on my horizon. Apart from the scary space monsters. I don’t mind fictitious ones though. Here is some more information:

When Quade swoops in to save his archenemy, Sol, from bloodthirsty Cybers, he doesn’t expect to find himself almost torn apart, terrified beyond imagining and even worse—declaring his love for her.

Now they’re trapped on Sol’s spaceship, both half-insane due to the Cybers pumping them full of some lust drug. If they can’t get a hold of themselves quickly, they’re going to be doing some pretty dirty things.

But surprisingly, Sol doesn’t seem to mind that newfound feelings are bursting out all over—especially when said feelings pave the way for wild and constant sex with her former enemy.

Incidentally, I hear that The Business of Pleasure is #1 in the erotica pre-orders chart at Play.com – thank you very much to all who have put it there. I hope you enjoy the book.
